i'm officially out of memory but my BB is still running...do you think this is why my emails are disappearing? even some 1 day old emails are gone!

is this possible or do i just need a reboot or something?

Try rebotting first-if that doen't give you 450000 to 500000 k of free space, you might want to consider trimming down your saved e-mails, themes, wallpapers and additional aps.

does the BB keep deleting emails bif you're nearly out of space to keep functioning?

The BlackBerry does delete the oldest (non-saved) messages when it needs space. So this is very possible assuming that your space available numbers are truely accurate.

I would say. you can also try clearing your logs. ALT+LGLG. I doubt much room would be cleared though.

yes, happened to me, too. But I had a 7750 so it was easy to fill the memory up. I don't remember if the old emails came back once I cleared memory. Sorry I can't be more help.

yeah i tried that but it didn't do much for me...

so i had to uninstall some apps and pictures to free up some memory...i guess i was at around 0 Bytes free...

now i have about 4MB free...

I agree! Considering the BlackBerry was orginally designed as a email device.

another note, your contancts may not wirelessly sync if your BB is full either...after you free up some space you may have to delete and re-add the contacts that you tried to add when it was full...at least that's what I had to do
