Default Having another From: address without setting up POP/IMAP on BIS 2.0?

Please Login to Remove!

Alright, I don't really have a desire to setup POP on BIS, because forwarding is ultimately faster. I have my work email forwarding as well as my GMail to my tmo.blackberry.net account. However, I'd like to be able to send from my GMail account, rather than always from my work account (which is the reply-to address listed in my single BIS account). I read Stinsonddog's little FAQ on configuring BIS to work w/ GMail, but it doesn't allow me to send from another address unless I've configured it under BIS...but I don't want it accessed via POP. Any ideas?

Default

set up your Gmail account as POP
then set the filter to "do not forward to handheld"
that way you'll have the service book for your Gmail if you want to send email from it - but you'll still get your email forwarded

downside to this is you won't be able to reply to email using gmail - just forawrd (if you change the "send using") and new email
