My girlfriend has a 7100g that I was using before upgrading to the 8700c.

I am trying to convince her to use it, but people she calls either (a) can't hear her at all or (b) can barely hear her. I do not remember a setting for the microphone on these phones. Is there a way to turn up the mic?

Also, what is the best version of the OS for me to upgrade this to. I hasn't been touched in over a year.
