What is the best bluetooth headset for road noise? I have tried the
Plantronics Voyager 510...hated it.
Plantronics Discovery 640...very comfortable and the volume was plenty but the person on the other end could not hear me if I was driving on the interstate.
I'm currently using the Jabra BT 250v and it seems to sound the best to the other person but it has static on my end.

Any suggestions?

Had the same problem. I went through a half-dozen headsets before I found one that was loud enough for me to hear and other people couldn't tell I was on one. Oddly enough, I bought it directly from Cingular. If you check at any Cingular store or Kiosk, it's the one that fits in one ear and has the somewhat goofy looking "under the lobe" clip. It looks weird at first but really does fit well – at least for my ear. I think it was only $29.95.

Don't waste your time on bluetooth. You look like a star trek borg wannabe and the audio quality blows.

Plantronics Discovery 645 now has DSP which has made a dramtic difference for me. YMMV -

I just bought a special issue magazine (put out by Laptop?) called WIRELESS. They talk about all the major service providers, their phones, accessories, etc. It's on stands now...try your local Barnes & Noble or Borders. It gives a lot of reviews on ear pieces, phones, etc. you may find it helpful...
