Default Unlock longer a cingular subscriber...uh oh?

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, so i am going out of the country and I want to use my old 7100g as my phone. One (or more problems): i am no longer a cingular customer and of course the phone is from cingular.

am I out of luck? Is there any way to unlock it now? How can i get the code?

Next, say we finally unlock it, what is the best way to get a sim card that will work in Greece and France that will of course work with my 7100g?

PS. switching to verizon doesn't help travelling to europe... =)

I have a friend with a cingular razr who is going overseas, her cingular rep told her they sell sims right in the international airports. As for the unlocking part, you could have a friend call i guess. I dont know how to unlock the 7100s.

GSMPhoneSource will unlock a Cingular BB for $39 - I used them to unlock an 8700C months ago.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7100/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Yes, a quick google search will give you hundreds of companies that unlock blackberries. Also, a quick search of the forums would have answered your question.
