I searched but cannot find an answer. I have just purchased an 8700c with the Cingular $29.99 Blackberry (BIS) plan. However, the BB browser has not appeared although I sent the service books from the BIS website. I only have the inferior Cingular browser. Is the BB browser available on the $29.99 plan?

I have also found that sometimes the Icon will appear following the removal and reinstallation of the battery. It sometimes requires you do this more then once before it will appear.

If this doesn't work, then like NetGuyR said, it may take a call to Cingular CS.

I think you mean Internet Browser. Blackberry Browser comef from being on BES that has MDS enabled. They are really the similar maybe the same - html enabled.

My brother-in-law just signed up for the $29.99 Blacberry BIS plan from cingular. Does it include unlimitetd e-mail and web browsing? I cannot find any info on the subject. I installed Blackberry messanger on his BB but I don't want him to get charged for data while using it.

Also if this plan includes unlimited e-mail and web-browsing then why am I still paying $44.99 for my BIS service?

you shouldn't be, the 29,99 is if you bundle it with a voice plan, and the 34.99 is for the bb unlimited BIS only, i have cingular bb and a verizon razr thats why i dont have a voice plan. go onto cingulars site and click data plans then blackberry plans and you will see ther new priced bb unlimited BIS plan, the 44.99 is for BES customers only. and yes your brother in laws plan will include unlimited data....

I would do exactly that, if you have any problems tell them this should be the code BBRYBISUNL, thats how it's listed on my bill...

I have found that some Cingular representatives who should know about the $29.99 plan don't know about it. I have been educating them.

alright, I've called them up and they said they've "hooked me up" What my plan now says is: BMDVLPBBRY and they charge me 30.99 for it.


It's a weird price...
