Default 8700c Screen

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 7100g with Cingular right now. I hate it! I am looking to move to an 8700c but want to make sure my two main problems with the 7100g are adressed. They are:

1. SureType, I cannot stand it.
2. Cannot read screen in even moderately bright conditions

I know the 8700c QUERTY keyboard will take care of SureType but will the screen be a significant improvement?

Thanks.

I love the screen on my 8700c. It has auto light adjustment that I find works very very well.

if you do not like sure type then go with the 8700 the screen is higher resoulution and very readable on sunlight. the 7130 devices have the screen issues fixed i belive but still not as good as the 8700.

I hated my 7100 for the same reasons. My 8700 has a great keyboard and I can type like a fiend on it. The screen is very bright and does adjust to lighting conditions. I am in and out of several buildings on our corporate campus and have no problems reading my screen in direct Texas sunshine.
Go for the 8700!!
