Default Can't synchronize global address book

Please Login to Remove!

My BB synchronized my contacts once which I didn't even realize how much old contacts I had in there. I cleaned up my outlook but now I have 500 contacts in my BB.

1) Is there a way to delete all or do I really have to do it one by one?
2) Why does it not synchronize after I cleaned my outlook contacts?
3) We have a global address book on our Exchange, any idea how I can synchronize this?

Any help highly appreciated.

PS: I tried searching for this topic but I might be to new to this board and BB to find the solution ('cause I think it will be obvious)

If you are on BES then contact sync may be setup to go OTA (Over the Air) in which case be patient and you will notice that your contacts will update themselves. If not I would recommend checking to see what your contact syncronization options are set at. There is a way to delete them all using desktop manager but a warning on that, you run the risk depending on how you are syncronizing that if you delete them from the BB they may delete from Outlook.

You can't syncronize the GAL all that easily. If you are on a BES then you can do a GAL lookup from the address book by clicking on the wheel and going to lookup, typing the first few letters of the person or group you are looking for and then clicking the wheel again.
