Question Personal email icon

Please Login to Remove!

For some reason I have the icon for someone elses personal email on my 7130c. I am the BB admin and was doing some work on theirs, and managed to get his data loaded on my bb, and mine on his! *sigh* lesson learned.

Anyway, his is now fine, but I can't get his personal mail icon off my bb! If I have to wipe it, will I lose my downloaded ringtones? Or is there a way to get rid of this icon without wiping?

I have rebooted it, also it will let me move it but not hide it.

Is it possible in your trouble shooting, you added his email address to your BIS account. Login to your BIS and check if there is a setup for his account. If so remove it. That should eliminate his icon. Also check your services books for one for his account. If you find it, delete it.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, if you wipe it your ringtones will probably disappear. Try going to

Setting
options
advanced options
host routing table
click the wheel and select "register now"

Might help.

Thanks guys! It was in the Service Books, I deleted it, and the rebooted and now it is gone!

I'll add this to my bag of tricks. I forget to check the service books when things flair up like this...
