Default Calendar not keeping time, 8700C

Please Login to Remove!

My wife just got a 8700C. For some reason, appointments she sets in the calendar are not keeping their time. For example, a 10am appointment will be at 5am when she looks at the calendar. The BlackBerry and the PC she syncs to are set to Central time. The BB is configured to update from the network.

Any suggestions?

Just a SWAG, but the network sets the minutes, not the hours. Is your time set correctly?

I have my 7100t set to update its time based on network time. No problem.

To the OP, if you haven't solved it yet, are you absolutely sure the computer time and the BB time are the same? Another thing to look at is the time zone setting in the calendar entry section. If say the BB is set to central time and you select eastern time zone when entering the appointment, the BB will adjust the time forward one hour in the calendar. I doubt this is the problem, because the default time zone in the calendar entry form is whatever time zone the BB is set at, so she would actually have to change it....but who knows....it's the only thing I can think of.

If you have solved it, what was it?
