Default Looking at a 7100, few quick questions though

Hey guys,

Since I am back to college in a few weeks time I have been looking at coming up with a way of getting my emails on the go and also having a good organizer on me. From what I can tell having looked at a variety of devices a BB is the best way forward, however I don't have the income to afford a BB Data Plan with a carrier so I was wondering if I were to get a BB and stick in say a Vodafone sim (into a 7100v) would I be able to setup GPRS and get emails from my own POP3 email account? Or if that wouldn't work would it be possible to do it via some piece of software that would sit on either my PC or my Mac and forward my emails to my phone that way?

Thanks,

Stewart

Default No BB Data Plan=No emails, internet!

Title should say it all. If you're a lurker, you might have seen this repeated throughout the forums. No matter which carrier you're with, you are wasting your time trying to get around it. No ands, ifs or buts. Got it? I hate to be blunt saying it like this, so forgive me if I come across as attacking you.

Mods:
How about making this a sticky so anybody considering a BB without a BB data plan should see this up front and center.
