Default Trouble hearing - 7100i?

Please Login to Remove!

I've owned about 3-4 Nextel phones before owning the 7100i, and I was wondering if anyone else noticed a decrease in overall volume with the 7100i? Using both the direct connnect, and the regular phone, I find myself having trouble hearing the other person on the end, not ebcause it's not clear, but just not loud enough if there is some backround noise.

The phone is about a year old, should I maybe try to get it replaced?

I am having the same problem.... I know the phone will go that loud because I have done some hard resets but it wont stay that loud. And my phone is only like 3 weeks old! This is driving me nuts!

Hmm hopefully someone with more 7100i experience can shed some light on this subject ;)

That might be a handset-specific issue. My 7100i works fine.

My DC and alert appears to work fine and adequate. The ringtones leave much to be desired as I find them disappointing in volume; considering I moved up to the 7100i from the I530.
