Default 8700 Multi Mailboxes Screwy?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there,

Two quick questions if you have time to help me out:

-I was trying to set up my BB to use another mailbox for my gmail (my normal mailbox is through my work ent. server). However, before I did the gmail thing, I wanted to test it using the t-moblie e-mail address they gave me, but whenever i send or receive a message, it goes into both mailboxes?? Is there anyway I can prevent this so I can keep my work seperate from my personal e-mail?

-Also, has anyone done the gmail along with their enterprise server? When you reply to someone does it show up as your gmail account? Or does it show up as your cell provider account, with your gmail in the reply to field?

Thank!

Nope. The Messages ribbon shows all messages, no way to change that.

Depends on the IT policy applied by your employeer. They have the ability to force all outbound email to use the BES account. If this is the case, you will always reply with your BES account regardless of which one the message orginally came to. If this policy is not enforced, your messages will go out using the account that received the email orginally (ie Gmail, Yahoo, misc POP account).
