Set-up:
8700c locked on Cingular (I know I can get it unlocked easy enough)

Problem:
Cingular has great service at home but lousy reception at job. Best carrier in job area is Verizon

Additional problem:
No carrier has outstanding, always reliable service in hospitals. This necessitates need for old fashioned pager.

Wish:
I want to carry as few electronic devices as possible. I wish I could just swap SIMS (one from Cingular and one from Verizon), but I know that can't be done even if the 2 carriers were on same type of network.

Are there any other creative options?

Suck it up and wait for Verizion to come out with the 8700...

Verizon should have it around sept-oct..

Incidentally, Verizon's CDMA network doesn't use SIMs.
