Our company has found a source for the latest T-Mobile BBs and Phones, including the 8700. We have purchased over a dozen phones from these guys and have had good service. Not always the easiest to contact on the phone, but definitely come through on the service.

amazon i only pay $50 and get a 50 rebate

I got paid $50 too, through Amazon. After 2 rebates ($75 and $50), I will end up $50 ahead and I can contact them easily via the phone (submit a help request and they will ring your callback number ASAP)

My T-mo service in NYC has been no problem. I have only found one area that I am in (my favorite pizzeria) where I have no signal whatsoever.

I started on a plan for $59.99 which inlcuded 1000 anytime minutes and unlimited BB and text messages.

Then I found out that there was the same plan for $59.98 with 1500 minutes. I called T-mo and explained the situation and they advised not to switch because I might get myself in contractual issues for going down by that $.01. I didn't mind really because I don't even come close to using 1000 minutes.

However, I decided to add a line to my phone. My calling plan is now $49.99 for 1000 shared minutes and then I added unlimited BB (no text msgs included, but that's ok) for $19.99, making my total bill $69.98

I wasn't sure how that was going to go down because the PLAN is cheaper, but they consider BB an OPTION. Put it all together and the TOTAL is more, so I wasn't sure if I was good.

T-mo couldn't say one way or another, so I got Amazon on the phone and the rep told me I was good as long as the total charges did not go below the original $59.99.

I took her name and agent ID and made tons of notes and she said she was notating my account that she advised me that it was ok to make the change.

I haven't been through a full billing cycle yet, so time will tell

Did any of you actually receive a rebate? I filed a $50 rebate 7 weeks ago and they still say they haven't received it. Google for t-mobile rebate shows a lot of people got stiffed.

Amazon rebates are a pain, and you WOULD have to deal with them for their rebates.
If its a TMOBILE rebate, call customer care.
Care is able to confirm your eligibility & credit your acct if Young America (rebate center) doesnt fufill your VALID claim. You can also check status of rebates on tmobilerebates.com.

i got mine from wirelessbuy.com 2year contract for $50 with $50 rebate

Thanks, I bought directly from T-Mobile. It's been 8 weeks and the rebate center says they never received my letter. I tried customer care yesterday and all they did was contact the rebate center, but that was Sunday. I'll try customer care again today and see if I get a better response from another rep.

Bought mine last week for $149 (plus shipping) from simplywireless.com and got it the next day. No rebates to deal with.
