Angry grrrrrrr: message problem

Please Login to Remove!

I have an issue. The handheld says I have a message at the top and I don't. I have checked voicemail, email, sms. I don't have a clue. Please help (as it is quite frustrating)

try going to the top of the message listing and click your trackwheel in and select "mark all read" and see what happens

Yep I have tried pretty much everything. It really aint that big of a deal but when I look it always fools me lol.does anyone else suggest anything?

Yep. I deleted the call log. Does anyone know how to wipe messages clean?

open desktop manager -> backup and restore - > advances -> highlight messages -> choose clear

you may want to back this up before doing this in case it doesn't fix your problem

If you connect your BB to your PC and open your desktop manager, you will see a option (1 out of the 3) to Back up and restore. By the way, does it look like a voicemail icon? If so, try leaving yourself a voicemail and then deleting it. That may clear the issue. Also, the icon might be a push notification, for instance if you have an internet based notification. Check that as well,

If you're with Cingular, you might have to pull the battery, and REMOVE the sim card. I had that issue once, and I had Cingular at the time. I did the battery pull and all that, no luck. I called them, and they advise abou the battery pull and sim removal. All was ok after that...

Tried it and it didn't work. I am going to try to do the desktop stuff tomorrow morning. I hope it gets rid of it. :/
