There are a lot of threads out there about poor battery life and how to get the most out of your battery. All are helpful, but how do you know if your BB is truly in need of a new battery, or if you're just pushing it too hard? I'm going to try to document the battery life of different 7100 devices. Please post your battery experiences, and be as specific as possible. There are a couple things that I believe are very important, make sure to include them.

Total Time Idle (from unplug to recharge)
Total Battery Remaining (go to Setting: Options: Status and get the %, please don't use "2 bars" or other estimations)
Total Phone use in minutes
Total Messages Sent
Total Messages Received
Signal: None, Low, Medium, High, if varying, specify
Signal Type: CDMA, GSM, EVDO, etc
Other Battery Draining Apps in use (Google Talk, Google Maps, Games)
Other external factors: Extended battery? USB Charge or Wall? Did you do a brief recharge? Did you use Bluetooth or wired headset?

I think if people are honest and fairly accurate about what they use, we can get a good idea of what to expect from these batteries. So if you feel like, keep track of what you do in between charges, and post your results.

I was at home all day today, using it very sparingly, so I know my stats pretty well. I will be in an area with very little signal (intermittent to 1 bar of 1X) tomorrow and will post those results then.

Other Battery Draining Apps: Google Talk was connected but barely used for maybe 10-20 messages. Google Maps was loaded twice, two sets of short directions.
Other Factors: None really, charged from a wall overnight until the morning of use.
