Default 7100i spam blocker?

Please Login to Remove!

Well i love getting my emails but i really hate getting all the spam. I use outlook for my computer and then of course it goes through the BB and none of the Spam gets blocked because theres no Spam Blocker....so is there a way or is it just one more think i have to live with?

Somedays i get around 15 emails a day and 10 of them are spam.

Wirelessly posted (Cingular 7130c: BlackBerry7130/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Your email provider should offer some sort of spam blocking. Bis 2.1 has a very very weak spam blocker supposedly. Its never blocked any of mine that get through gmail though.

if your on BIS you can set up filters in your account itself.

Personally i don't have any issues w/ BIS 2.1 filters - i have my main ones set to "do not forward to handheld" and then have a filter set up to forward only email that was sent to me or cc'd to me

I get no SPAM this way
even w/o this filter on my Yahoo! account i don't get the email that's in my SPAM filter where as w/ BIS 1.8 i did - so i find them stronger; not weaker
