Hello,

I received my 8700 today after using the 7290 for the last couple of years.

Ive been playing with the phone all day and its great! I do have one question though.

Is the only way to hang up call by pressing the scroll button in and selecting "End call?" With the 7290 I was able to hold in the back button and that would end the call. Does anyone have any input?

if you have the 8700, it has dedicated talk and end buttons, the RED button is to end the call, while the GREEN button initiates the call

Transitioning from a 7280, it took me a LONG time to get used to using the red button. Eventually, you do get used to it.

Also, depending on what Bluetooth headset you have, if any, a single tap on a headset button will hang up the call.

the red button is awesome! great for going back to the home screen too.

Ive managed to transfer over my calender, phone book, changed the theme, ringtone, and download google maps.

I couldnt figure out the red button.

This is a new low for me =)
