Default Driving me NUTS -->7130 keeps crashing

Please Login to Remove!

Dear folks,

I cannot stand it anymore...i've been living with this for months now but i've finally decided to post!

I am using the 7130E and with only the BIS, the device works fine. But now, with the dumb BES server (link2exchange), my device hangs for about 1 minute every 5 minutes. I can see it connecting, and then the Blackberry Browser deletes itself and then reappears. But during this period, my device is unusable...lags like crazy!

Any ideas? Link2exchange is hopeless, they have no resolution. Thanks!

That's really strange. Even stranger that link2exchange won't help. Does your provider have orvisioned properly for BES?

Have them delete and readd your account and if that doesn't work find a new provider. Also you might wipe and reload your BB too.

Unfortunately, I've tried all that and it still isn't helping...

I would take the 7130 back to your Carrier and let them sort it out. The problem seems to be with them anyway.

Good luck...

Go into Options --> Security Options --> General Settings and check if the IT Policy is less than 5 minutes old. If it is, it is an issue on the BES itself.

Yes, it is the BES! It's about 5 minutes old. What can I do about this?

Can't remember which service packs fixes the constant download of an IT Policy. Contact link2exchange and tell them about this problem you are having. The BES needs to be updated.
