Default Phone Does Not Start in the Morning

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Everyone,

Another newbie here with the Blackberry and still learning the ropes. When I shut down the phone there is a message that says it will restart the next morning at 7:00AM. That function has ceased to work and I am not sure what I did to disable it. Anyhelp on this is always appreciated.

BTW is a 8700c.

Thanks

Regards,

Stringbender

Does this happen on weekdays or weekends? There are separate setings for each. You can always disable both, save the setting, then reset your times for each and enable, then save.

If you power off the phone manually with the power button on top of the phone, it will not wake per your settings. If you power off the phone from the screen button, it will wake from your settings.

For no hassles, let it turn itself off.

No, No, No. It said it would start the next morning at seven because you had an alarm set for seven. Even if you shut down the BB, your alarm will still work. It lets you know it's going to turn back on automatically so you're not surprised when it does. Try setting your alarm for whatever time and then turn off your BB, I bet it'll do it again.
