Id like to do I full "reformat" of my 8700R unlocked from rogers. I know about the wipe the handset. but is there a way to remove the OS and then reinstall the OS on it. (juste like you would on a PC). cause i know how to upgrade but i wanna start over and get a clean install.
can some one post all the steps.

Search for JL_Cmdr on these forums and download it.
Use Option 5 to completely wipe out the BB, including all data, programs and the OS.

but then all i need to do is re-install like i was updating the OS?
