Default Animation????

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings,
I have an 8700C, and absolutely love it. A friend of mine has a Nextel BB (an older blue one), and his does something that mine doesn't. He can launch a weather site, like Accuweather, and see animated radar. I have not been able to figure out how to enable animation on my phone. Is it possible? Please let me know.

Mike F

On a side note, are there any other browsers available besides the ones that came with the phone? Thanks.

Accuweather.com uses animated GIF images to provide short animated clips within their Web pages. This should work on your BlackBerry so long as you have the browser set to display images.

There are some 3rd party browsers available. Try looking through the Aftermarket Software threads.

I tried Opera Mini, and it did not work with my phone. Some kind of network conflict or something.
