Finally figured out how to set up my e-mail..woohoo!

Anyway, should the green light always be blinking? Today, it stopped all together. No red, no green blinking at all. So I shut it off, turned it on, and it was blinking green again. Why did it stop?

Also, does anyone feel like during a phone call you sounds like you keep getting disconnected, but you are still connected? Like the ear piece sounds like the phone is off? Seemed off as well today, and was quite annoying.

Any help would be great!

Thanks.

Wirelessly posted (Cingular 7130c: BlackBerry7130/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

the light is a service light. Did you have service before you reset the device? Eraeying it might have made it find the tower. I've never expirienced or heard anyone say anything about the phone sound like it disconnects.

I've heard about the service light acting funny. Do a search on the forum and you'll find other threads. I personally shut off the LED light so the only time it lights is when I have a voice mail, email or instant message and it blinks red. Also, on the phone sounding like it disconnects. I generally only notice that when I first dial a number...it rings once and then I hear that click (almost think I'm disconnecting) but it doesn't. Anyway, getting used to it now.

Ok, great. Also, is there anyway to keep my internet mail in JUST my internet mailbox and not have my "Messages", mix with my "Internet e-mail account?" Everytime I recieve or send an e-mail, it goes to both areas. Anyway to seperate them?

And...how long does it usually take to receive an e-mail to your phone? I sent myself a test message, and it took about 8 minutes before it got to my phone, yet it was in my mailbox on my desktop immediately. Is this normal? If not, how do I fix this?

Thanks.

Nope, not that I am aware of. Sorry, but this is just how it is.

I'll assume in part you are using BIS to receive at least some of your mail. In this case, you can see up to a 15min delay in email through BIS, unless it is sent directly to your BIS Email address. So yes, with the BIS accounts it would be normal.

If you are using a BES connection, you should see the mail on the device instantly. If this is not the case, then something may be wrong, contact your IT people.

Yes, I am using the BIS, so this is normal I assume. Thank you.

My indicator light still stops blinking every now and then, but my service is fine, and I can make phone calls no problem. Just, the light isn't on. Should I call T-Mobile about this, or is this normal as well?

Thanks.
