I notice, every once in a while when I glance at my BB, that the green blinking LED has stopped blinking.

I think it's supposed to stop blinking when there's no service, but it seems to do it even when there is service...

Hmm... In the middle of writing this post, I'm thinking something. The place I'm in right now, doesn't have the best reception. So, if the reception drops out enough and the LED stops blinking, maybe when the reception comes back, for some reason the LED doesn't start blinking again.

When I turn the LED coverage indicator off, the green light is just off. But, if I get a message/email, it still blinks red, which is good. That means it's not an actual LED problem or anything.

At this point, I guess it's probably just a reception problem.

If I turn the wireless off, and back on, it starts blinking again.

Anyway, anyone have any opinions on the matter?

I have the same issue, I've had my 7130e for about 2 months now and it just recently did it.
One thing I did not know was that there is an option to turn off the indicator? Is it in advanced options?? What I did was shut down device completely and turn it back on and it seemed to work.

To turn the blinking green signal light off (which can save batt power).
Options > Screen/Keyboard > Led Coverage Indicator
