Default 8700 continuously transmitting

Please Login to Remove!

In the last day or so my 8700 will not stop transmitting. I am noticing the bi-directional arrows continously on at the top right of the screen.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to stop it. It is really wearing down my battery. I have treid rebooting, shutting off applications with no success.

Your help here would be appreciated.

Thanks and I look forward to your reply.

Default remove the battery

For reference I removed the battery in order to reboot BB. Seems to be working now. Consider this closed.

make sure when your done using the internet, BBTV or any program that uses data, to not just escape out of the program, but to actually click the track wheele and close it. It seemed to stop it for me.

This happens to me from time to time. Usually when using an application or trying to send when I suddenly get into an area with a low signal. Turning the wireless off/on or pulling the battery solves it, as you found out.

It happens to me about once every couple of weeks.
