Unhappy 7130e msg count of out sync? help!

Please Login to Remove!

any suggestions? my BB says I have 2 unread messages, but no matter where I look, I find only 1. if I increment the unread msgs, the count goes up and I can clear those and it goes back down, but it thinks I have 1 more unread msg somewhere than I do.

I'm not sure how this happened. Any suggestions to fix it? I've tried a wireless reconciliation w/ my notes mail (which our BES supports) and that doesn't seem to fix it.

Could have happened (possibly??) with pocketday? not sure..would hope not, but maybe...I learned that if you shortcut to the mail from pocket day, it runs the mail app 'on top' of pocket day, so when you escape out it goes back to pocket day..maybe there was some confusion among all the apps in controlling the msg count?

maybe there's some other type of message that I just don't know about?

this is weird..troubling too...any suggestions are appreciated.

maybe I need to clear all data off and reload? doesn't sound fun but maybe that would help? not even sure how to do that. power off / on doesn't see to correct the count and wireless reconciliation doesn't seem to fix it either

Question fixed - pull battery then reboot

fixed - vzw rep told me to pull the battery & reboot (vs. power off which doesn't seem to actually do much) pulling the battery, putting back in then powering up cleared the count...
