Default T mobile unlocked 8700 g now what

Please Login to Remove!

ok so they unlocked my 8700 g so what does this actually do for me just lets me use any sim card or is there more to it?

Well, that is about the extent of having your device unlocked. It is nice that they did that for you. If you decide to leave TMO, and you want to take your BB with you, you will be forced to choose another GSM carrier. Your TMO uses a SIM card and therefore, someone like Sprint wont work because they dont.

how did you get tmobile to unlock it for you? did you just call and ask for the blackberry unit? or did you do it in the store?
