Default All data being randomly deleted by 7105t?

Please Login to Remove!

I've recently had issues where all of my text messages, emails, and recent call history will be deleted without warning, and without me touching anything. I have next to no pictures saved on the phone and it's deleted everything when there was only 1 txt msg there. I have the most updated software from Tmobile and I'm using the ZEN theme.

Any ideas? This has become a pretty serious issue.

Have you cleared your browser cache? That can use up memory as well!

I haven't tried that, but I have cleared the BB warning log. That seemed to take up a lot of space too. I'll try your suggestion. Do you think it's deleting my data because the memory is full? If so, the 7105 can't hold sh*t for storage.

Actually I use the opera mini browser and I don't see an option for clearing the cache like the BB browser has. Ideas?

Well my problem is till happening even after clearing out almost anything I could find. It's definitely not a storage space problem in my opinion. However for the last 2 days I have switched from using the ZEN theme to the dimension with icons theme. Now I haven't had anything deleted without me telling it to do so. Could it really be a theme related problem? The ZEN theme is the only one I find easy to use and the most visually apealing. I really regret getting this phone now.

PapaNick78,

I had this same problem; the solution is to delete the other languages that you do not use. i.e. if English is your language of choice, delete all the others (French, German, Italian, Spanish etc.) this will free up storage as well.

You can do this by going to options-> advanced options->applications. Under applications are all the languages. Then delete the languages you do not want.

For instance I have the following:

Blackberry 4.1 core.....
Supplemental Sure Type
English
Medical terms 4.1
Legal terms 4.1
Financial termas 4.1
Semitic characters 4.1
language and imput
english UK 4.1
BB 4.1 system
BB Attachment 4.1
Brickberaker 4.1
Browers 4.1
Javascript Package 4.1
Help 4.1
Instant Messaging 4.17
Memopad 4.1
Passwordkeeper 4.1
phone 4.1
Tasks 4.1

Hope this helps!

Zen has a huge memory leak on the 7100's. I had the same issue on my 7100g, upgraded to 8700 and haven't had an issue with Zen since.

I love the Zen theme too. but I don't use it at all because of the deleting issue and having to do a hard reboot almost everyday. 7105t is still a decent device, although I am planning on upgrading.

I use the Opera Mini browser as well (because its better in some aspects) I think when you clear out the cache on the Internet Browser it clears the cache on Oper Mini as well. The only think that I can see that you can clear on Opera Mini is the History.

I only have english installed for languages. Seems like it's just going to be the typical Zen memory leak problem then huh?

Is there another alternative to that theme that has the same features,.. such as seperating emails and sms/mms messages into different folders automatically?
