Default um some questions

im kinda new to the blackberry seen im wondering if i should buy it in the first place. Im really into viewing the net while im on the go, and i use instant messangers frequently, because i produce msic and a lot of clients are on aim and such. But idk if i should get a blackberry 8700g, 8700cor a motorola q. I have a couple of questions.

1. how is the web browsing? is it exactly like a computer or is it limited?

2. is im installed already?

finally do i have to pa more for web browsing suc as data and all that.

1. web browsing isn't going to be the same as a computer. the screen just isn't big enough to make them equal. that being said surfing the net is pretty good and you can access just about any site.

2. there are a bunch of 3rd part programs out there that provide im capabilities so while it may not come installed it's quite easy to get

3. you will pay data charges for ANY phone you wish to surf the web on

As to answer your questions:
1. 8700 g or c are the same device, only differences are cosmetic, and one is sold by t-mobile the other cingular, which isn't that big of deal because you can unlocked them. The Q sold by VZW is a joke imho. The customers I have sold it to have all returned it, main complaints are battery life and the fact that the device locks up constantly. Plus with Verizon you will pay for data. My choice would be the 8700g on T-Mobile, unlimited data is only 19.99 per month with a voice plan.
2. T-Mobile has a IM client called OZ, but it uses Text Messages, I would download Ramble, its free and works quite well.
