Default Changing Sim Card Phone Number

Please Login to Remove!

I recentely ported my number in to T-Mobile to replace my existing temporary number. As I noticed when I made an outbound call it still was showing my temporary number that T-Mobile had given me. Would manually changing this in the (options, advanced options, sim card, edit sim card number) pathway have any negative effects?

Changing the number wouldn't have any negative impact. Since your port when through, have you power cycled your blackberry, turn wireless off and on, and if that doesnt' work, pull your battery so it has to fully reconnect to the network. As a last effort, call T-Mobile and have them do a total account refresh.
