Is it possible to shut off the Data (email) and still use the phone features for my 7130?

Thank you in advance

Wirelessly posted (Cingular 7130c: BlackBerry7130/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Permanently? You can cancel your data plan. Temporarily, no. Why do you want to turn off data?

If you are on a BES, you can turn off the forwarding of e-mail from there.
Additionally some version of the OS give you the ability to disable data. I remember seeing that on an earlier 8700 OS - perhaps Bharti or Telstra.

Another thing to do, if on BIS, is to deactivate all of your e-mail accounts. Disassociate them from the BB.

No more e-mail.
