I don't think either company, RIM or Palm, would want that to happen.

Yes, or hacked the RIM OS.

Use Outlook... Much easier.

The closest thing I'm aware of to this is the one-way wizard for migrating from a Palm to the Blackberry. It's part of Intellisync in the v4.1 Desktop Manager software. That's not for Palm Desktop, though. It moves direct FROM another Palm device to your Blackberry device. And, like I said, it's one way only.

I've wanted to do this too..doesn't seem like it's possible though? :( It's a shame because I really like Palm Desktop as a desktop PIM tool, and I don't even use Outlook (I use Thunderbird).

Are there any other simple desktop programs with a Calendar, Tasks, and Memos that I can sync with my Blackberry 7130c?

Or is it limited to the ones available on Blackberry's Desktop Manager?

(ACT, ASCII Importer/Exporter (?), GroupWise, Lotus, Outlook)

hmm.. how does the ASCII Importer/Exporter work?

I am syncing my 7100i to my Act! through IntelliSync that I used for my old Sony Clie PDA. It works for the address list but nothing else.

That's what I'm doing as well. Its better than nothing and I prefer it to Outlook.

I would love to sync to something other than outlook. I even tried Lotus Organizer but it was too touchy on syncing to more than one box. Does anyone have any other good suggestions?
