Default SMS Message Question

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a way to get the BB to save the SMS messages on the handheld itself rather then leave it on the SIM Card. I am assuming the text messages are being stored on the SIM as i keep getting "sim full" messages. I have to keep deleting the SMS messages.

Another question - is there a short command key to view just text messages instead of all (email+text). I thought there was a way to do it - i remember being able to view just text msgs (on my 7100) but i cant remember how now.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7290/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

If you go to options>sms you can make it where they don't save on the sim card...as for the command I'm not to sure about that...that's one I would like to know myself

For the shortcut to view text messages - you can see what shortcuts are created by first doing a search, then at the search screen click the wheel and cick 'Recall'. That will tell you what searches (shortcuts) are already set up. If the one you need isn't there, create a new search and then save it.
