Default Phone always "sending and receiving" data?

Please Login to Remove!

I've noticed, that every once in a while when I look at my 7130c, it shows the little "sending and receiving" arrows.

Even when I just pick up the phone to look at the time.

Just now, I was on the phone, and when I got off, the arrows intermittantly came and went for 2-3 minutes after I hung up.

Now, as it sits on the desk, it's not doing it anymore.

I don't really notice anything wrong with the phone, it seems to work fine, etc.

But I was just wondering if this was normal.

I have ramble IM on the phone, but it's not signed on, and I've got PocketExpress, Googlemaps, a few games, berry 411.

Are any of these constantly updating or something weird?

Just curious.

Thanks.

EDIT: I guess this really isn't a big deal. It hasn't done it since I got off the phone. It just started to seem, that whenever I looked at it, it was doing that.

Oh well, any input is still welcome.

that is normal for the arrows to appear every once in a while to maintain and verify the data connection. But you may want to make sure your apps are not constantly running in the backgroud eating away at your data. You can hold "ALT" and push the escape button (under trackwheel) and you'll see all open applications.

My firewall was disabled, I enabled it ... will this effect anything or what? Will I notice better performance with my phone now that the Firewall is enabled?
