I usually tether at work to view sites that have been blocked by IT here.. (Airsoft retreat, Myspace, etc) and for some unknown reason, tethering is EXTREMELY slow.. and only a few web sites actually work. MYspace works, but once you try to log in, it takes a while and goes to the "Page cannot be displayed" page..

is anyone else experiencing this slow down today?

Have not tethered in awhile however I know it has to do with your service provider. Check your reception, if full or atleast decent, not sure what to tell you but if your reception is poor that is going to be the reason for the slow speed.

What provider are you with? I just used my blackberry as a modem for sprint and it was getting .75MB. Speed was still there for me. Sometimes it does get slow or I get page unavailable and I just disconnect and then connect again. Seems to work for me.
