I will be purchasing an 8700 real soon and I wanted to know my options for online banking. I would like to have wireless access to my account info, but it only looks like it is available on Palm devices.... please help

It all depends on the website. Some work, others don't. Most banks don't have specific access for moile devices. The browser on the BlackBerry is not as full featured as what you get on your PC. But then again, neither is the browsers on the Palm or WM devices.

Many of the online HTTPS based systems are compatible with the BB browser. As d_fisher said it is not as full featured but I have accounts at different financial institutions and I can access all of them on the BB.

I have accounts at 3 different banks and I can access them online from my blackberry no problem.

I use microsoft IE to access my wellsfargo account on bb browser.

The standard default browser didn't work on BoA but Opera solved that issue

Try this to use the BB or Internet browser on your BB. Go to options in your browser, browser configuration, and change the Emulation Mode to Microsoft IE. That will enable your BB browser to appear to servers/pages as a regular IE browser.

Well Fargo will not open on Opera when I tried it.. because it says that it is not secure.. but I can go to WFB thru IE browser..

Anyone here able to access their Prosperity Bank account with TMO service?

I'm considering going to a BB from an MDA. I had a Treo 650 before that. My bank was recently taken over and now, as Prosperity, I CAN'T access my account with my MDA (couldn't with the Treo either). Thought the MDA would work but it doesn't! Help!
