Exclamation newbie question regarding calendar

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I have two questions regarding the BB 8700.

1. How can I sync my Corporate Time Calendar which is run with Oracle. My company does not allow us to use Outlook as an email client. Does any one know how I can sync with a third party software in my case?

2. How can I display my phone number for my BB in the screen when you dial out a number. In the field: My Number

Thank you in advance
Gerald

I don't know about #1, but #2 is:

go to phone list/ options/ general options/ show "my number"/ change option/ yes

I am a BES admin for my company. The problem you are experiencing is an issue with your sim. Sometimes sim cards don't receive the flash info the right way over the air. While it works for call etc, the # didn't flash onto the card the right way. Do one or both of the following. Call customer care with your carrier, and ask them to reflash your card. If they agree, see if that corrects the prob. Easier than that... is to just go into a local store and ask them to replace your sim. If they try and charge you, tell them that it is their fault and show them that your # isn't displayed and they will not charge you.

Good luck.

Make sure that your BB is not set to "Restrict My Identity".

Even easier than that:

Go to settings,
Advanced options,
Sim Card,
Click the thumb wheel and select Edit SIM Phone Number,
Then enter your number.
