Default Blackberry 7130e Hourglass on Boot

We have a customer who has gone through 5 Verizon 7130e's in the past year. Each time we contact our BES and Verizon to see what is going on and everyone says its not them. After a day or two, sometimes a week, the blackberry starts to show a spinning hourglass on bootup and never goes to the main screen. This past time I finally learned to use javaloader to wipe it out and then use the application loader to load the software back, and we got it back to normal. I havent enterprise activated again because I dont want to have the hourglass again. We have tons of these models and noone else is having the problem, just this one customer. Shes not loading anything, shes not smart enough. The only thing different I have noticed is she has ALOT of Custom Words (2500 of them). And she has a pretty big address book (around 1000 entries). Does anyone have any suggestions to why this keeps happening? I was thinking about clearing the custom words and disabling wireless sync on her address book for a while to see if that resolved it, but any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I have noticed the same problem with my 7100g. I am on I have a large address book and custom word file as well.

Sometimes I get the spinning hourglass on boot or in the middle of a call. When it happens in the middle of a call the keyboard is totally disabled, a major problem when in voicemail. It seems to happen more overseas or if there was a long time between restarts (low battery?).

When it happens mid call I resolve the problem by removing the battery for a few minutes, then restarting. It takes a few minutes to boot, but then everything is fine.

I do not have wireless sync on my address book. (I think. Like your user I am tech challenged.) I don't think that will solve the problem.
