Default No service on 8700g BB

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have been using my BB for about 3 months. I did not have any problems for first 2 months. From last one month I am loosing signal and says no serivce and never comes back to service untill next couple of hours irrespective of how strong is the signal strength in that area.

Does any one have this problem or any solutions for this?
Thanks

I have not experienced that problem. Still, have you tried rebooting the phone, i.e, with the phone on, remove the back cover, take out the battery and replace it after about 30 seconds. That simple operation often clears up issues.

I would also make sure your Network (options > network) is set to Automatic, rather than Manual.

you might try an OS reinstall. Could be corrupt, or pay your bill. LOL

Also, try turning off the wireless, and after 30 seconds turn it back on. Also, do you have an X in the top right corner when there is no service, or does it show GSM? I've had that before, turning off the wireless and back on corrects that...
