Default T-Mobile 8700G Not Getting Service

Please Login to Remove!

Hey there folks. I'm having a strange problem with my T-Mobile 8700G. It had been working fine for weeks, and all of a sudden, the Blackberry isn't receiving any service. No matter where I go, what I do, it won't get service. I took it in to the T-Mobile store and they recommended I re-install the OS (which I did, and that did nothing), and I've tried the taking the battery out, etc etc. Seems ridiculous that the product isn't working, and I'm just not sure what to do. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Last time that happened to me I called T-Mobile BB support and the tech erased my profile and re-created it and my BB worked again. Not sure why it happened. Once minute I have 3 bars the next minute all bars are gone and I'm not recieving a signal. I tried to turn the BB off and when it restarted it didn't even try to look for a signal, it just went to Data Connection refused.

Did you also turn the wireless off, and back on? I'm pretty sure you did, but...

Also, are you getting GSM in the top right corner, or is it just an X?

If you have no service no matter where you go, where you should normally have signal, then maybe it's a hardware issue. Just turn it in for a warranty exchange if you still can.
