7100g Not downloading any new e-mails
The message waiting indicator is steadily increasing as new e-mails are sent to the device (now over 200), but no new messages are actually received.
What can it be?
How can you tell if the device is "full" and doesn't have room to download any new messages.
Could it be something else?
The e-mail account is from BES.
I would try resetting the BB. Turn off, pull out battery, wait 30 seconds, put it back in and see if it is better.
That was already tried.
Have you spoke to your BES admin or IT support?
I called the wireless provider's technical support. The device was not full yet.
One of the service books was corrupt. After deleting the service book and regenerating the encryption key with the desktop manager software, it started to work from that point on.
I'm still curious what happens with your Blackberry is completely full and has no more local storage available to download new messages.
Has anyone ever completely filled their Blackberry?
It will start to delete the oldest e-mails.
