I've tried Ascendo Money and Jabplite.

Ascendo Money is great in that it comes with a desktop program you can use to sync and backup, and you can port the data to/from Quicken or something. However, I found the functionalities sadly quite lacking.

I then came across Jabplite, and found the functionality much better (as in many more functions). And the best thing about it is, IT'S FREE! The biggest problem is that it was originally written for the Sony Ericsson P900 (or something), and this conversion has not been optimized for the BB, so navigating it can be quite inefficient. However, you'll get used to it after a while.

do a search for both programs on this forum.

I use trackit: Expense Edition. I think it was only $25 or $30 and can be downloaded OTA if needed.
It's not bad. The graphics are very simple but it does the job well. Has all kinds of types of expenses pre set up plus you can add your own more specific if need be. You can also set up your categories, etc.

They also have an automobile tracker called trackit: Vehicle Edition which I have as well. Same remarks as above, simple, basic and does the job well. Same price too.
