Default How can I DL texas hold'em if I don't have the data plan-7290 tmo?

Please Login to Remove!

I used to have it, but Tmobile's internet is super slow. Hate it! My friend has a bb and I was addicted to playing texas holdem on his bb. From my research, I need to use the bb internet browser to dl the free version of hold em. Is there another way? Maybe dling to my desktop on my pc and then using the app loader from bb manager? TIA

Nope.

No data plan = no data. Period.

It's possible, but uses a more complicated series of Javaloader steps.

1. Download to a friend's Blackberry with a data plan.
2. Use javaloader.exe -usb save <file> at the DOS/WINXP command line prompt to copy the program to your PC from your friend's BlackBerry with data. To find out which file, use javaloader.exe -usb dir and try to determine which .cod file is your game.
3. Use javaloader.exe -usb load <file> to copy the program to a BlackBerry without data plan. (Must be an unrestricted BlackBerry -- i.e. one not blocked by BES policy)
4. Viola!

You won't be able to submit scores online, and if the software has online checks, those will break the program. But it should be playable.
