Exclamation Blackberry Messenger Set Up Questions

Please Login to Remove!

I'm new to the blackberry and have a friend who has one and he is set up with other people to use the blackberry messenger. We tried to set me up with it and only got as far as installing the software on my blackberry and he sent an invitation to me. Now when I open my messenger it has him under pending. I receieved an email from blackberry and it had an attachment with it and in the body of the email it said it not to delete it that if was connecting to a server. Are we doing anythning wrong or does it take awhile to set this up. We tried this about 4 hours ago and a few different times and it still says pending under his contact. Please help if you can. Thanks in advance.

Question

You're talking about BlackBerry Pin Messenger, right? You're not doing anything wrong, I had a similar issue, once...

Just add the person to your contact list, or better still just send them a pin (from within the BlackBerry Pin Messenger window). They should get a message to accept/decline...

I don't know why BlackBerry Pin Messenger does this from time to time...

your set to forward email from your pc. it should be set to forward from your email server thats why your seeing the "do not delete message". Check your email options. in the redirector. Not sure but the default may be desktop forwarding which requires you to be logged onto your email service.

As for the BB messanger, you must accept to have them added. Takes a while to get used to the logic they used.
It does work good in most areas even with cingular service and is fast
