I've been searching the forums, but haven't found anything that seem to fit my question.

I recently purchased 2 new in the box 8700g phones from someone with a corporate T-Mobile account. The phones have never been used or activated (I broke the seal on the box myself).

I have a Cingular account (and, obviously, a Cingular SIM) and don't have access to a T-Mobile phone/SIM. I'm looking for a reputable remote unlocking service. I'm considering using GSM Phonesource to do this. Does anyone have any experience (positive or negative) with them?

I've been reading mixed reports on whether or not I need to have a T-Mobile SIM in the phone in order to unlock it. Can anyone comment on this?
