Default 8707V Memory

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys
I am thinking of gettin a 8707V.

I used to go for the Phone PDA types before, but always ended up being dissapointed. So I went the way of a phone and a PDA. This is actually worse, when I remember to charge the PDA, I have two things to carry around and the HP PDA I have doesnt seem to allow for many applications before running out of internal memory.

So now I am thinking of going back to a Smart phone.

What are these things like on memory. There seems to be some good applications. but is it a case of installing one at a time.

I am thinking of the office suite, the Wallet application and a game or two (Suduko for example) maybe a couple of others.

would the 8707 cope with this.

Thanks
Mark

Since I doubt that they would add memory to the 8707, it should be 64MB. In most case, you will start with 49 free and then you can add from there. Apps for the BlackBerry are fairly small, so you could have eOffice, sudoku, etc. If the hand held is running out of space it will just begin to delete old calendar appointments and you oldest emails.

I have loaded quite a few apps onto mine just as trial versions to see if there would be any major problems, bugs, crashes etc.. but I must say I am impressed what a device. It runs perfectly, it does indeed have 64MB memory, I to have a nokia 9500 smartphone & a hp pocket pc, they will be going on eBay this week
