Look around BBForums for posts about Javaloader. It's a program that you can use to wipe your BB clean and reload the OS.

I have a similar problem. I get a JVM 523 error (I think that's the number) if I pull the battery and restart my 7100g. I can do a 'javaloader usb -wipe f' and then restore my latest backup. Hopefully you have a backup of your data!

The syntax of the command you gave is a bit off.

jjwizzle - search for JL_CMDR and download that utility.
You will also need to download the latest version of the handheld OS for the 7100g from your carrier.

The command for javaloader is

javaloader -usb wipe

Why resort to javaloader when you can simply use app loader?

I know that DTM won't connect to the handheld, but application loader should still....but you probably still won't be able to do the automatic backup/restore.

However, if you decide to do javaloader on your own and you mess something up and have to call RIM and they find out you used javaloader before calling, you will be out of luck. Sure it can do some good things, but not much that can't be done with App Loader.
