Angry No (ZERO!) options under Email Reconciliation

Please Login to Remove!

I just got a new BB, 8700, on T-Mobile UK. Have been using BBs for a couple of years now, and do think I have some knowledge. However, I've never seen the following:

Under Options in Messages, there is a sub-menu Email Reconciliation. However, in my new BB there's just a blank screen. Nothing else, zero.

Am I supposed to activate this service? Can't remember doing this on my 1st BB 8700, where the sub-menus were all there.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you on BES? You may need to have them remove you, and then go through Enterprise Activation again.

I've had that happen to me before, and that was the fix.

If you are a BES User do as suggested.

If you are BIS User check the Mobile Account for the following under Profile:
"Wireless Delete Options
Enable permanent deletion of messages on BlackBerry Internet Service when messages are deleted from the handheld."

Enable this and resend Service Book.

If you do not see this in your mobile account you need to contact your Service Provider for them to enable it against your Mobile Account, you will need to provide your PIN and Mobile Email Address. This is essentailly a single tick option for them in there BIS Admin Interface. Log back into the account and ensure this is enabled, resend service book.
