OK on my 7290 theere were two arrows < > that allowed me to backspace or forward space over a word to correct another. The 8700C has a < with DEL above it and all it does is DELETE everything. Am I doing something wrong. Sometimes I just want to backspace and correct a word without deleting the word in front......Any Help here????

Alt and roll the trackwheel. That should get you around without deleting anything.
